Southern Cross Brightside Hospital in Epsom, Auckland has 33 in-patient beds and 6 day-stay chairs. Surgical specialities include Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Our hospital features an intermediate care facility, a specialised post-operative ward for patients with medical conditions or surgical issues that require an enhanced level of monitoring and care. The beds are equipped to support invasive monitoring, medical infusions, and a 24-hour monitoring service, with specialised nurses with the knowledge and skills to deliver a more sophisticated level of care as required.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Theatre team as a Clinical Nurse Lead at Southern Cross Brightside Hospital. This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with your passion for leadership, helping to create an environment where both patients and teams can thrive.
As a key member of the Theatre leadership team, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of theatre services, ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care while helping teams deliver a seamless surgical experience. You'll work alongside surgeons, anaesthetic teams, nurses and wider clinical staff, providing clinical guidance, coaching and support to foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll remain connected to clinical practice while contributing to the ongoing development of people, processes and patient outcomes. From mentoring team members and supporting professional growth to identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, you'll help shape the future of our perioperative service.
