Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
This dynamic full-time role is the heartbeat of executive support, offering comprehensive administrative assistance to the General Manager (GM) and Hamilton Hospital Senior Leadership Team (SLT). From managing diaries, emails, and travel logistics to coordinating governance-level engagements and hospital-wide projects, it’s all about keeping operations smooth and strategic. You’ll be the go-to for meeting minutes, P&C admin, event management, organising catering and process improvements—always ready to adapt, influence change, and build strong relationships across the hospital and specialist teams.
With a “can-do” attitude and a knack for juggling priorities, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Whether it’s liaising with governance members and senior clinicians, optimizing travel arrangements, credit card reconciliations, or stepping in to support fellow admins, your role is pivotal in driving excellence and fostering a collaborative, high-morale culture.
