Southern Cross Hospital Rotorua is a modern surgical hospital serving the local community and the greater Bay of Plenty region. The hospital is characterised by a friendly, professional surgical nursing team, and offers credentialled medical practitioners and their patients access to superb facilities. These include three advanced theatres, 22 inpatient beds in comfortable, well-equipped rooms, and a purpose-built day stay facilities.
Surgical specialities include Orthopaedic and General surgery, Urology, Otolaryngology, Minor Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Gynaecological surgery. The broader Rotorua campus is shared by Canopy Cancer Care

Are you a theatre nurse looking to grow your career in a supportive, collaborative environment where no two days are the same?
We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Theatre team at Southern Cross Rotorua Hospital in a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) position. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your perioperative skills while working across a broad range of surgical specialties in a modern and well-equipped theatre environment.
Working in both scrub and circulating roles, you'll be part of a close-knit team committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes. You'll collaborate with experienced surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre professionals, contributing to a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and clinical excellence.
